About Me
If you're new on my friends list, please read this entry (friends locked) for some important information. I try to keep my profile and the entry you're reading right now as up-to-date as possible, so you should find everything else there that's worth knowing about me.
Please keep in mind that I'm not a native speaker, and unfortunately never had the chance to actually practice English. My last English lessons are part of an era when our forefathers were still living in caves. So most of my entries might sound a little clumsy.

Call Me Names!
Please don't take this literally, I'm just explaining where my name Darciana comes from. It's actually quite easy: I love Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" for almost 20 years now, and Mr. Darcy is one of my favourite heroes in literature history. There you have it, Darcy - Darciana. Simple, huh? ;o)
I'm also using Pfefferminzchen, (Peppermint) Patty, sometimes Aliena or Alienelle (no reference to "The Pillars of the Earth"; it's derived from alien, as in E.T.) and - just recently - Ellie McSteiff (don't even bother to ask where that comes from) and Floppy Ear as usernames. It always depends a little on what's still available and what I'm in the mood for when I register somewhere on the net.
